Barinder Rasode is a social responsibility advisor to Resource Works and Managing Director for Headwaters Strategy Group. She served 6 years on Surrey Municipal Council, from 2009 to 2014, taking leadership roles in public safety and transportation.

Her experience, working with municipal governments, stakeholders and the private sector, finding common ground and encouraging respectful, informed dialogue on diverse issues has proven invaluable to both these roles.

Rasode is also on the Board of Directors for Fraser Health, providing governance and vision for the largest health authority in British Columbia. In her appointed role, she works with senior management to establish overall strategic direction, review long-term plans, and ensure appropriate community consultation.

She is the Co-Founder for a unique series of conferences, each featuring 16 inspirational women who share stories of leadership, transformation, innovation, and how to succeed in today’s rapidly changing world. Barinder hosts SheTalks Radio a weekly show on Roundhouse 98.3 FM.

In 2014 she was recognized by Vancouver Magazine as one of the 50 most powerful people in Vancouver.
