McTeague: Carney must SCRAP C-69 — Trudeau’s anti-pipelines law
| By Dan McTeagueIf Prime Minister Mark Carney is serious about getting pipelines built in Canada, he needs to scrap Trudeau-era anti-energy laws. In particular, Carney must make it a priority to scrap Bill C-69 — or as critics have dubbed it — the No Pipelines Bill.
C-69 drove away investors from building major energy projects in Canada, including the Northern Gateway Pipeline. This vital project would enable Canada to export its oil and lessen our reliance on the U.S.
